Superior Construction Efficiency and Output:
Anodised Aircraft grade aluminium body with oversized O rings makes for a water tight case. The same diameter lens and LED as the Auro 2 but amazing electronics manage to draw enough power from 1 x AA battery to match the Auro 2 output, on the down side the battery life is halved but for the pocket sized convenience its more than justified.

Superior Output: Unlike most LED torches that use the Power Hungry Luxeon LED the Auro uses the new Rigel range of high power LEDs by Nichia (Inventors of the white LED) Though only rated at 0.5 Watts this torch puts out the same amount of light as its higher power Luxeon counterpart but uses much less power. What does this mean for me? It means greater battery life without loss in performance
