Primus Eta Express
The Primus Eta Express is their lightweight offering from the super efficient EtaPower range. Designed for use by one or two people. The Eta Express is light and compact and all the components plus a 230g LPG gas canister will pack away inside the 1 litre pot. Since the Eta Express is so fuel efficient your gas canister will last longer and you will need less of them for your mission. The Eta Express stove gets it's efficiency from two places. First a heat exchanger on the bottom of the pot to increase the surface area of the pot bottom and so increase the energy absorbed. Second from a windshield that covers the burner unit and the bottom of the pot. Windshields are common on floor standing stoves but not normally found on these lightweight canister top stoves. The windshield is not a full circle so needs to be pointed into wind for maximum effect. The Eta Express will boil 1 litre of water at 20°C in 2.5 minutes.
The Eta Express 1 litre pot is made from lightweight hard anodised aluminium with a 3 layer titanium non stick coating. The lid doubles as a frying pan and both the lid and pot have folding handles.
The Eta Express uses a 2400 watt burner unit with piezoelectric ignition. For best fuel economy use the fuel valve ¾ open.
